Huntington Cemetery Committee Notice – Benches
Dear All,
On behalf of the Huntington Cemetery Committee, I’d like to address the matter of the benches that have been generously donated to our cemetery.
Regrettably, due to the deteriorating condition of some benches, the committee has decided that they are no longer safe for use.
We understand that this decision may be disappointing, and we want to assure the families affected that it was made with great consideration for everyone who visits our cemetery.
To provide an opportunity for next of kin to claim the benches, we will keep them on-site until February 2024. We will relocate the affected benches to the front of the cemetery to prepare for their removal.
We want to ease this process for you. The Huntington Cemetery Committee has decided to handle the removal of the benches on your behalf, and there will be no charge for this service. Any plaques will be safely removed and stored.
